SB Core Energy is an emerging energy infrastructure venture focused on assessing the potential for advanced micro-nuclear technology deployment in India. Our strategic focus is on industrial facilities and data centres — sectors that require reliable, dispatchable, low-carbon power that intermittent renewable sources alone cannot provide. We are at an early stage of development, conducting technology assessments, evaluating potential technology partnerships, and engaging with regulatory and commercial stakeholders.
Where We Are Today
SB Core Energy is a pre-commercial venture. We have not yet completed technology acquisition, executed partnership agreements, obtained regulatory approvals, or commenced commercial operations. Our current activities include technology assessment, partnership evaluation, regulatory engagement, and investor relations. We are building the foundations for long-term commercial deployment, subject to successful completion of all required feasibility, regulatory, and commercial processes.

India's heavy industry sector — including manufacturing, chemicals, steel, and cement — requires reliable baseload power. We are assessing whether micro-nuclear technology can serve as a viable long-term energy solution for large industrial consumers.
Data-Centre Power Infrastructure
India's data-centre market is expanding rapidly, driven by digital economy growth and AI infrastructure investment. Data centres require 24/7 reliable power with high uptime requirements — a potential fit for dispatchable micro-nuclear generation.
Technology Partnership Strategy
We are evaluating potential partnerships with established nuclear technology developers. Any proposed collaboration is subject to discussions, definitive agreements, technical feasibility and applicable regulatory approvals. No partnership has been executed.
Regulatory Pathway
Deployment of nuclear technology in India requires engagement with the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) and the Department of Atomic Energy. We are assessing the regulatory pathway and what would be required to pursue licensing for micro-nuclear deployment in India.
